TruBlu Shih Tzu joined the TruBlu Lhasa Apso’s kennel in 2002 when Wendy was asked to help Doreen Snowden of MiOwn Shih Tzu to show a bitch Ch. MiOwn Victoria’s Secret (Torrie) for her.  Wendy continued to help Doreen out by showing Torrie for the weekend and enjoyed showing the happy little sweet dog that Torrie was. 

At this time there were no plans to have Shih Tzu’s in the Lhasa kennel, however Doreen knew Wendy enjoyed Torrie and asked if she would like to co-own her and show her to her championship so off Wendy went and showed Torrie to her championship. After Torrie achieved her championship she was bred and Wendy picked out of her litter Ch. TruBlu MiOwn 2 Kewl (Armani).  In 2005 Armani was shown both in Canada and the USA and achieved # 3 Shih Tzu in Canada that year. 

In February 2006 Wendy purchased her foundation bitch from Diane & Luke Ehricht of Hallmark Jolei.  She then welcomed to the kennel Ch. Hallmark Jolei TruBlu Posh (Kenzie).  Kenzie finished her championship in 2007 and was bred to Ch. Hallmark Jolei Starbucks and produced two beautiful Shih Tzu bitches, TruBlu Show N Tell (Danica), co-owned with Donna Bang of Kasugai’s Shih Tzu and TruBlu Caffe Latte (Carmandee) owned by Wendy and Neil.

Since the puppies needed time to grow up, Wendy now had no Shih Tzu’s to show so she contacted Margaret Brown of Shente’s Shih Tzu’s and Marg agreed to co-own Ch. Shente’s Georgia On My Mind (Georgia) with Wendy and Neil. Georgia came to reside at TruBlu in May 2007 at a year of age and went # 2 Shih Tzu in Canada 2007. Georgia was campaigned the following year and was # 1 Shih Tzu in Canada for 2008. Georgia is a Specialty winner winning Best Of Opposite Sex at the 2007 Canadian Shih Tzu National and winning Best of Breed at the 2008 Canadian Shih Tzu Regional.
